In a separate incident, a 61-year-old man named Jason Parr lost his life in a collision involving his e-bike and two pedestrians on Rochdale Road in Blackley. One pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, while the pedestrians sustained minor injuries.
Jason’s daughter, Samantha, expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of her father, describing him as a unique individual known for his humor and ability to bring joy to others. Road closures remain in place around Bolton Road and Eskdale Avenue, with emergency services still present at the scene.
