A man in his thirties tragically lost his life following a collision with a car on a London street during daylight hours. The incident occurred in Willesden, London, at 12:44 pm on December 3. The victim, identified as Ruben Nunes, aged 34, received medical attention from paramedics but was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene.
In response to the incident, a 29-year-old man was apprehended on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody, as confirmed by the Metropolitan Police.
Detective Chief Superintendent Luke Williams expressed the solemnity of the situation, acknowledging the distress it may bring to the local community. He extended condolences to Ruben’s family and friends during this challenging period.
Williams assured an escalated police presence in the vicinity to support the investigation efforts, with additional officers on patrol to address any concerns from the public.
