Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma-Wilson are preparing for the arrival of their second child. The well-known actress from Pitch Perfect and her spouse, Ramona, have joyfully announced that they are expanding their family once again.
Ramona shared the delightful news, expressing, “We are thrilled to share that soon there will be four of us! Baby number 2 is on the way. Sending love to @rebelwilson.” Rebel also joined in, commenting on the post, “My love, I am overjoyed for our beautiful babies!”
Their first daughter, Royce Lillian Elizabeth Wilson, was welcomed in 2022 through surrogacy. Rebel has been transparent about her motherhood journey and her experiences.
On Mother’s Day this year, she shared a heartfelt post, stating, “Being a mother to this adorable little one is the most amazing experience! Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mothers out there, especially to @ramonaagruma, my mother, sister, and grandma! Cheers to all the moms out there!”
In a reflection back in 2023, Rebel expressed her desire for more children, considering her baby to be a “miracle.” She mentioned, “I wish to expand our family. It’s a question of whether it’s feasible. IVF might be necessary. Roycie is a true miracle. Even if she ends up being my only child, that would be incredible.”
When Roycie arrived in 2023, Rebel expressed eternal gratitude and praised their “amazing surrogate” for granting them the greatest gift.
“I am incredibly proud to announce the birth of my first child, Royce Lillian, born last week via surrogacy. Words cannot describe the love I have for her; she is a beautiful miracle!” she shared.
“I am endlessly thankful to everyone involved (you know who you are); this has been a long process… but I especially want to thank my wonderful surrogate who carried and delivered her with utmost grace and care. Thank you for helping me start my own family; it’s an extraordinary gift. The BEST gift! I am ready to shower little Roycie with all the love in the world. I’m learning fast… immense respect to all the mothers out there! Proud to be part of your circle.”
Reflecting on her journey to motherhood in 2022, Rebel described it as “heartbreaking.” Recalling her time working on The Almond and the Seahorse, she revealed, “While filming, I received devastating news that all my frozen eggs up to that point did not survive the thawing process. After losing a significant amount of weight and undergoing three surgeries, I had no viable embryos.”
“It was crushing. I knew that my yearning to become a mother was so intense that I had to persist. It was a mix of loss and hope – all of which influenced my performance in the film. It was an intensely emotional period.”
