Donald Trump has acknowledged using makeup to cover up bruising on his hands in response to growing health concerns in a revealing interview. Trump revealed that he applies makeup after sustaining injuries, stating that the process is quick and easy, taking about 10 seconds.
The 79-year-old was recently seen at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida with what seemed to be makeup or paint concealing a bruise on his hand before meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. In the interview, Trump mentioned an incident where he cut his hand on United States Attorney General Pam Bondi’s diamond ring during a handshake, leading to minor bleeding.
Despite visible signs of aging, Trump has dismissed traditional medical advice, attributing his health to his “good genetics.” The bruising on his hands is linked to his long-term use of extra-strength aspirin, a habit he maintains despite doctors’ warnings. Trump explained that he is superstitious and has been taking aspirin for 25 years for cardiac prevention, causing bruising due to the higher dosage.
Trump’s personal doctor, Navy Captain Sean Barbabella, confirmed Trump’s aspirin intake for cardiac health, which is higher than the standard dose recommended. Trump defended his choice, stating that aspirin helps in thinning the blood for better heart health. Additionally, Trump confessed to finding exercise tedious, expressing his dislike for activities like walking or running on a treadmill for extended periods.
