The London Marathon attracted a plethora of celebrities as thousands of participants raced through the city today. The 46th edition of the marathon covered 26.2 miles, commencing at Blackheath and concluding at The Mall, passing iconic landmarks such as Buckingham Palace and Clarence House. Approximately 60,000 individuals are expected to partake, marking it as one of the marathon’s largest events.
The day began with the elite wheelchair race at 8:50 am, succeeded by the elite women’s race at 9:05 am, and then the elite men along with the first wave of mass runners half an hour later.
Notable personalities hitting the pavement this year include Tilly Ramsay, Charlie Quirke, James Norton, Cynthia Erivo, Jack O’Connell, Samantha Spiro, Alexandra Burke, Nikita Kuzmin, and Kitty Scott Claus.
Various celebrities, including Mo, Joe Wicks, and Curtis, participated in the marathon, with Mo also seen providing water to fellow runners along the route.
