Britain’s Got Talent is preparing for its live final, with ITV adjusting its schedule for an extended episode of the popular talent competition. Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and KSI will be back as judges, while hosts Ant and Dec will oversee the show. The winner, determined by public vote, will receive a £250,000 cash prize and a chance to perform at the next Royal Variety Show.
The upcoming episode on Saturday, May 30th, will run for two-and-a-half hours starting at 7 pm, following a prior show. Ten acts will compete, with five earning a spot through the Golden Buzzer and the remaining five selected by viewers during the semi-finals. Notable entries include singer Matty Juniosa and dog act Anastasiia and Salsa advancing through the Golden Buzzer and public vote, respectively.
The Golden Buzzer in subsequent semi-finals went to dance group Sadeck Berrabah and LMA, fire juggler Liwei Yang, and poet Sonny Green, among others. Notable acts like magician Fabian Fox and comedian Ted Hill also made it through based on viewer support. The Hawkstone Farmers Choir secured the last spot in the final through public votes.
Britain’s Got Talent, which premiered in 2007, has a history of diverse winners, including opera singer Paul Potts and dancer George Sampson.
