Declan Queally and Nico de Boinville have resolved their disagreement following a heated incident at the Cheltenham Festival. The clash occurred during the Turners Novices’ Hurdle race, which experienced delays due to a chaotic start. Despite the tension, De Boinville finished second on Act Of Innocence, while Queally came in fifth on I’ll Sort That.

Queally initially expressed his displeasure, citing an abusive comment of a racial nature from De Boinville. However, in a recent update, both jockeys confirmed that the issue has been resolved. Queally acknowledged the heat-of-the-moment nature of the conflict and extended well wishes to De Boinville. De Boinville, in turn, expressed appreciation for Queally and thanked Davy Russell for their involvement in resolving the matter.

The reconciliation took place during an interview with ITV, where both jockeys shook hands and put the incident behind them. Former Champion Jockey AP McCoy commended their actions, deeming it the right approach. As they prepared for the next race, The Close Brothers Mares’ Hurdle, the duo concluded their interaction amicably.
