Strictly Come Dancing is undergoing significant changes as BBC executives are looking for new hosts following Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman’s departure last year. The popular duo left after the 2025 season, won by footballer Karen Carney and dancer Carlos Gu.

While the replacements have not been officially announced, several names are circulating as potential hosts, such as Zoe Ball, Bradley Walsh, and Rylan Clark. There are rumors that the show may have three hosts for the first time.

In addition to the hosting changes, Strictly has also seen a shake-up among professional dancers, with Nadiya Bychkova, Michelle Tsiakkas, Luba Mushtuk, and Karen Hauer all being let go.

Various personalities have been linked to the hosting roles, with some confirming their interest and others declining. Presenter Alison Hammond revealed she had to decline an offer due to her busy schedule, expressing gratitude for the opportunity but citing conflicting commitments.

Comedian Alan Carr and TV personality Amanda Holden have also turned down offers to host the show, citing schedule conflicts and family commitments. Holly Willoughby was initially considered a frontrunner but is now reportedly no longer in the running due to concerns about her association with Phillip Schofield.

Emma Willis, Zoe Ball, Miranda Hart, Rylan Clark, Mel Giedroyc, Sian Welby, Alex Jones, Anton du Beke, Janette Manrara, Fleur East, Angela Scanlon, Tom Allen, and Gabby are among the names being considered for the hosting roles. Each candidate brings a unique set of skills and experience to the table, with the final decision expected to be made soon.
