NATO fighter jets were deployed in response to Vladimir Putin’s latest aggressive assault on Ukraine. Reports indicate that the action was taken following multiple casualties, including the tragic deaths of at least four individuals, including a 12-year-old girl. Among the reported casualties were two individuals at a targeted cardiology institute in Kyiv.

Putin utilized Tu-95MS strategic bombers, known as Bears, stationed at an Arctic air base to carry out the devastating attacks on Ukraine, particularly focusing on the capital city of Kyiv. Timur Tkachenko, the head of Kyiv’s military administration, confirmed the discovery of a female victim, initially believed to be a 12-year-old girl, in the rubble of the attack in the Solomianskyi district.

Disturbing footage captured a drone striking a shopping center and detonating in Bila Tserkva in the Kyiv region, resulting in injuries to at least 27 individuals. Similarly, in Zaporizhzhia, at least 21 people were injured in a series of strikes on the city, including two children.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky disclosed that Russia carried out the attack using 500 drones and 40 missiles, including Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missiles, in a assault lasting approximately 12 hours. The severity of the situation prompted Poland’s operational commander to mobilize its own and NATO fighter aircraft near the Ukrainian border as a precautionary measure.

In response to the ongoing attacks, Poland’s Armed Forces activated their resources, deploying fighter pairs and enhancing air defense and radar reconnaissance systems to the highest alert level. These preemptive measures aimed to safeguard airspace and protect citizens, particularly those residing near the threatened areas. Despite Russian claims to the contrary, Ukrainian emergency services reported deliberate targeting of civilians in the attacks.

Throughout Ukraine, Putin’s forces targeted various locations, including a cardiology institute where two individuals lost their lives, a wine factory, and a children’s educational institution. The wine factory in Odesa was evacuated following the attack, ensuring the safety of its 50 workers.

Reflecting on the devastation, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed the extinguishing of a fire at a medical institution, with the recovery of two deceased individuals and the rescue of five others. Additionally, reports indicated that two Kinzhal hypersonic missiles struck fortified storage facilities housing Ukrainian F-16 fighter jets at the Starokostiantyniv airbase in the Khmelnytskyi region, as per Russian sources.
