Police authorities have made public a surveillance video following an incident where a 16-year-old girl was reportedly harassed by a man inside a Sainsbury’s store. The teenage girl was at Greens Lane in Kimberley, Nottingham, on November 9, when she claims an unidentified man made her uncomfortable by staring at her. Upon exiting the supermarket, the man allegedly approached her near the Card Factory, complimented her, inquired about her residence, and mentioned a property he owned. An employee from a nearby shop intervened, causing the man to run away, according to police reports.
Nottinghamshire Police have disclosed an image of a man they wish to speak with regarding the alleged occurrence, which occurred around 3 pm. PC Olivia Pettitt, the lead investigator, denounced the man’s actions, stating that they instilled fear and intimidation in the girl. The police emphasized the gravity of such incidents and highlighted their thorough inquiry efforts since receiving the report on November 9.
