Shona McGarty has exited the I’m A Celebrity camp, securing the third position after rapper Aitch departed the previous night. The final trio comprised Shona McGarty from EastEnders, Tom Read Wilson from Celebs Go Dating, and social media personality Angry Ginge.
Fans expressed disappointment over Shona’s departure, with many taking to social media to voice their support for her and speculate on Tom’s potential victory in the competition.
In the extended final episode, the remaining contestants – Shona, Ginge, and Tom – participated in a challenging Bushtucker trial to earn a full meal for their Jungle Banquet.
During the trial, Shona faced the Rat Race challenge, successfully securing four stars using only her mouth, amidst a swarm of insects and creatures, to win three starters and a drink for the banquet.
Following Shona, Tom tackled the Bushtucker Bonanza, consuming a series of exotic dishes, including fermented duck egg, camel’s brain, pig’s vagina, and a huntsman spider, to win main courses and a drink for the group.
Lastly, Ginge underwent the Helmets of Hell trial, involving placing his head into various helmets to release stars with different critters and creatures lurking inside each helmet and box. He successfully retrieved all stars, earning desserts and a drink for the camp.
The triumphant contestants returned to camp, anticipating a grand twelve-star banquet to celebrate their achievements.
