The initial day of Britain’s Got Talent auditions has been delayed due to reports of Simon Cowell falling ill. The auditions, slated to commence at the Hippodrome theatre in Birmingham today, have been canceled. Just before the scheduled start, the official X page of the show posted an announcement inviting participants to the Series 19 Auditions with a link to apply. However, confusion arose as fans received emails stating the cancellation of the auditions.
Responding to the situation, a BGT spokesperson confirmed the postponement of the day’s filming citing unforeseen circumstances. A source revealed that Simon Cowell, the head judge, had fallen ill, prompting the decision to postpone the auditions to ensure all judges could participate in the series launch. Simon, who had been feeling unwell, is now recovering and aiming to be fit for the rescheduled auditions.
Simon was set to lead the auditions alongside judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and KSI, who replaced Bruno Tonioli. KSI expressed gratitude for joining the BGT team for another season and promised an entertaining show. Meanwhile, Bruno bid farewell to BGT after three series, expressing his fondness for the show and the team.
