In a speech at the United Nations, President Donald Trump sharply criticized Europe today, stating that immigration was negatively impacting European countries. He urged for the opening of more oil fields in the North Sea and dismissed global warming as a “hoax.” Trump also escalated his feud with London Mayor Sadiq Khan by baselessly accusing him of trying to enforce Sharia law in the city.

During his address, Trump expressed dissatisfaction with the UN’s performance, alleging corruption and inefficiency within the organization. He recounted his past involvement in bidding for the refurbishment of the UN headquarters in New York, criticizing the outcome and cost overruns.

Trump highlighted his interventions in preventing or resolving seven conflicts but criticized the UN for its lack of support. He emphasized his disappointment in the UN’s failure to offer assistance in resolving these matters, claiming that the organization only issues ineffective statements.

The President also lambasted Europe for its handling of immigration issues, declaring that European countries are facing severe challenges due to an influx of illegal immigrants. He specifically called out London, criticizing the city’s mayor and insinuating a shift towards Sharia law.

In his speech, Trump questioned the purpose of the United Nations, emphasizing the organization’s unfulfilled potential and limited effectiveness. He derided the UN for what he perceived as a reliance on issuing strongly worded statements rather than taking meaningful action.

Additionally, Trump urged for the exploration of more oil fields in the North Sea, dismissing renewable energy sources like wind power. He criticized the Paris Climate Accord, labeling it as “fake” and emphasized the economic potential of the North Sea for the United Kingdom.

Furthermore, Trump condemned delegates who supported Palestinian Statehood, attributing it to potential rewards for Hamas atrocities. He called for the immediate release of hostages held by Hamas and urged for immediate cessation of conflicts in Gaza.

As Trump’s rhetoric continues to draw attention, the Mirror has introduced a US Politics WhatsApp community for readers to receive real-time news updates and exclusive content.
