Senior members of the royal family gathered on a rainy June day to celebrate the wedding of Peter Phillips to NHS nurse Harriet Sperling in a private ceremony. The King and Queen were among the prominent attendees at the nuptials of Princess Anne’s son, which took place at All Saints Church in Kemble, Gloucestershire. The bride looked stunning in a floor-length lace gown designed by Emilia Wickstead from London, complemented by the Pragnell family tiara.
Also present at the wedding were the Prince and Princess of Wales, Zara and Mike Tindall with their children, along with Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice with their spouses. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were notably absent from the event.
Despite maintaining a low profile due to controversies involving their father, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice graced the occasion with their husbands. The public cheered as the King and Queen arrived, and the guests rejoiced with “hip hip hooray” as the bride, accompanied by her three bridesmaids – Savannah, 15, and Isla, 14 (Mr. Phillips’s children), and Georgina (Ms. Sperling’s teenage daughter) – made her entrance.
The newlyweds were captured posing for photographs outside the church, sharing a kiss in the car post-ceremony. Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie arrived at the church, while King Charles acknowledged royal fans upon his arrival. Harriet Sperling arrived with her bridesmaids, and Kate Middleton stepped out of her car as she arrived. Queen Camilla greeted the public before the ceremony.
Inside All Saints Church, beautiful flowers adorned the venue post-wedding. The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh were also in attendance. As the joyous couple drove away after the wedding, they were all smiles. Zara Tindall, the groom’s sister, was seen at the event, and a local resident climbed a ladder over a garden fence to catch a glimpse of the royal guests.
