Apple is presently hosting its annual WWDC Developers Conference at its headquarters in Cupertino, California, featuring a plethora of updates for its product lineup. The upcoming enhancements for the iPhone set to launch later this year include improved customization options, enhanced parental controls, quicker app launches, and a more intuitive Siri assistant. This latest release is expected to be a hit, particularly benefiting users with devices compatible with Apple Intelligence.
Initially introduced in 2024, Apple Intelligence faced challenges with several promised features failing to materialize. The tech giant from the United States has since been diligently working to enhance this smart service and is now prepared to introduce the improvements to the general public.
Upon its debut in September, Apple Intelligence is anticipated to simplify users’ lives by aiding in calendar organization and offering context-based suggestions in Messages. For instance, if a user receives a message requesting “photos of mom,” Apple Intelligence will promptly display relevant images from the photo library.
Further, Safari browsers will see updates such as the Notify Me feature, allowing users to track webpage changes like product restocks or price adjustments. Additionally, Safari will introduce auto-organized tabs by topic.
Among the notable features is the enhanced photo capabilities of Apple Intelligence, including improved image retouching, object removal, background extension without requiring advanced editing skills, and Spatial Reframing that enables post-photo composition adjustments.
Craig Federighi, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Software Engineering, emphasized the company’s commitment to creating user-centric and privacy-focused AI products. The upgraded Apple Intelligence is set to roll out with iOS 27 this fall, available on various iPhone models, including the iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16 series, iPhone 17 models, and the iPhone Air.
