Our children adhere to screen time limits, with devices transitioning to downtime mode at 7 pm and being prohibited in their bedrooms overnight. We engage in open discussions about smartphone usage, emphasizing the risks of oversharing on messaging platforms and the significance of setting online boundaries and seeking consent.

Exploring current issues like AI chatbots and misinformation serves as valuable conversation starters. Encouraging the children to express their opinions and posing thought-provoking questions fosters a dialogue rather than a lecture format. Despite my expertise in online safety, there are instances during our conversations where I seek further information or feel uncertain about providing accurate answers, prompting me to turn to reliable online resources for guidance.
