In Canada, where 11 of the examined online posts originated, concerns have been raised about the lack of meaningful regulations surrounding the sale and purchase of human remains. While some shipping companies have policies against transporting mummified human remains, sellers may exploit loopholes by mislabeling packages, potentially putting postal workers at risk.
