Reunion of Harry Potter Cast Members Who Played the Weasley Family

Stars from the Harry Potter series who portrayed the Weasley family members recently gathered at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London to commemorate 25 years since the debut of the first film.

James and Oliver Phelps, Bonnie Wright, and Mark Williams, known for their roles as Fred and George, Ginny, and Arthur Weasley, respectively, revisited the iconic film sets where they originally portrayed the magical family in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in 2001.

Oliver, aged 40, expressed his excitement about the reunion, stating, “Returning to the set and reuniting with Bonnie and Mark has been an incredible experience – it feels like stepping into a time capsule, as if no time has elapsed since we were last together.”

During the reunion, the Weasley cast members revisited significant sets such as The Burrow and Platform 9 ¾, reminiscing about their filmmaking experiences. The event also marked the launch of the summer feature, “First Year At Hogwarts – Where The Filmmaking Magic Began,” at the studios in Watford. This feature allows fans to relive memorable moments from the film on authentic sets.

The exhibition will be open at Warner Bros Studio Tour London: The Making of Harry Potter for four months starting from May 7.

Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone set a record for the highest-opening weekend and was the top-grossing film of 2001, earning $974 million globally during its initial run and surpassing $1 billion in total gross.

“First Year at Hogwarts – Where the Filmmaking Magic Began” is a new special feature running from May 7 to September 7, 2026, with additional attractions included in the ticket price.

Reflecting on the reunion, Mark Williams remarked, “I always enjoy revisiting the wizarding world, and the new summer feature is truly delightful. Being involved with the remarkable work of the design department was a significant part of our experience filming The Harry Potter series. Being reminded of that has truly brightened my day.”
