One member of the Royal Family reportedly paid a visit to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor at his new permanent residence for a private conversation. Prince Edward, the younger brother of Andrew, is said to be the first family member to meet with him after his relocation to Sandringham from Royal Lodge. The move came in light of ongoing controversies surrounding Andrew’s connections to Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex trafficker.
Despite denying any wrongdoing, Andrew faced significant backlash leading to his isolation from the royal circle, with only Prince Edward venturing to see him at Sandringham. According to a source speaking to The Sun, Prince Edward was the sole family member to visit Andrew as he prepared for the move to Sandringham from Wood Farm, where he was initially supposed to stay over Easter.
Allegedly, Andrew has been shunned by others, including his daughters and ex-wife, since leaving Royal Lodge. Buckingham Palace refrained from commenting on these reports. Notably, Prince Philip was among the first royals to address the situation in public, acknowledging the concerns raised and emphasizing the importance of remembering Epstein’s victims during a summit appearance earlier this year.
Following the release of documents containing exchanges between Andrew and Epstein, including an invitation from Andrew to visit Buckingham Palace, the Duke has vehemently maintained his innocence in any misconduct associated with Epstein.
