Actress Hayden Panettiere Dies at 36

Hayden Panettiere, known for her roles in the TV series “Heroes” and “Nashville,” has passed away at the age of 36. Police discovered her unresponsive in a Greenville, S.C., apartment and despite life-saving efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of death is unknown and is currently under investigation, with no signs of foul play reported.

Fellow actors, Viola Davis and David Arquette, expressed their condolences on social media. Panettiere, who would have turned 37 soon, openly discussed her personal struggles in her memoir released in May, detailing battles with alcohol addiction and postpartum depression after the birth of her daughter in 2014.

Her father, Skip Panettiere, described her as a talented and loving individual, bringing joy to all who knew her. Panettiere’s publicist has not provided further details on her passing. In her last Instagram post dated July 27, she shared a photo with a friend, captioned with “Good times and good friends.”

Panettiere’s career began at a young age, starring in various commercials and soap operas before rising to fame with her role in “Heroes.” She later achieved success in “Nashville,” earning Golden Globe nominations for her performance. Panettiere also spoke candidly about her struggles with mental health and addiction, seeking treatment and focusing on her growth and resilience.
