“EE Offers Discounts on Smart TVs for 2026 World Cup Fans”

Date:

EE is offering discounts on smart TVs to football fans gearing up for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. In addition to the discounts, customers who purchase a TV from the EE website before July 19 will have the chance to win tickets to a Home Nations match. The prize includes 10 pairs of tickets to be won for a football game in the UK, allowing winners to choose between supporting England, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland.

It is important to note that the match tickets are not for the upcoming World Cup but for games scheduled between September and December. The discounted TVs, which include brands like Samsung, Sony, LG, and Hisense, offer savings of up to £500. For instance, the Samsung QN93F QLED Mini LED 4K Ultra HD Smart AI TV is priced at £1,999, down from £2,499, and includes a 20% cashback offer from Samsung.

On the more affordable side, the Hisense A7QTUK QLED AI Smart TV starts at £309 and boasts ‘true-to-life’ visuals with QLED Color technology. This model also features an AI 4K Upscaler for enhancing classic content to modern 4K quality. Customers can participate in EE’s Summer of Sport deal by purchasing a smart TV before July 19 to potentially win tickets to a Home Nations game later in 2026, with many TVs offering discounts up to £500.

Another featured TV is the 55” Toshiba UV2F LED 4K Ultra HD Smart TV priced at £249, which offers stunning detail with 4K Ultra HD and Dolby Vision, along with rich multidimensional sound powered by Dolby Atmos and a 20W speaker output.

In comparison, Sky is currently offering 20% off both models of their Glass smart TVs, with the Sky Glass Air starting at £4.50 per month (previously £6) and the Sky Glass Gen 2 now priced at £11 per month (previously £14). Amazon has also introduced a new Fire TV model called Amazon Ember, now up to £270 off, designed to mimic framed artwork.

For those considering participating in EE’s Home Nations tickets competition, the Hisense A7QTUK model has garnered positive feedback on the brand’s website, with customers praising its crisp picture quality and impressive sound. While some users found the sound slightly lacking, overall, the TV has received high ratings for its easy setup and clear visuals.
