The family of a young TV personality is grappling with unanswered questions following her untimely demise in the Canary Islands. Identified as Annabella Lovas, a former reality TV star turned influencer, she gained recognition on the Hungarian edition of the Bachelor in 2021 before transitioning to social media fame and relocating to the Canary Islands.
Her life took a tragic turn as she battled cancer, leading to lasting psychological effects. Annabella was reported missing in November 2024, labeled as a “vulnerable person,” and later located by authorities in Playa del Ingle. However, several months later, a body was discovered in the Berriel Ravine natural pool, stripped from the waist down, with severe fingertip damage hindering DNA extraction.
Despite extensive search efforts using drones and helicopters, no personal belongings were found, with investigators relying solely on identifying “strange tattoos” on the deceased. Police chief Pablo Fernandez Sala described the arduous process of determining the woman’s identity, highlighting the challenges of the remote location and lack of identifiable features.
While the exact cause of death remains inconclusive, authorities suspect that financial struggles led Annabella to homelessness, speculating that she perished elsewhere on Gran Canaria before being carried by flash floods to the remote location where her body was discovered. Notably, her Instagram account has been deactivated, adding a layer of mystery to the tragic circumstances surrounding her demise.
